Introduction

It was after the unexpected success of the first small family gathering of Badunge Gurung Community on the 3rd November 2007, that the seed for establishing a KhoSoBho Gurung Samaj UK was really sown. It rapidly gained its popularity and received overwhelming support, and without delay it was officially established on the 7th June 2008 at Hyde Park, London. It represents the Gurung communities of three prominent districts Khotang, Solukhumbu and Bhojpur from the eastern part of Nepal hence it is named as KhoSoBho by adding the prefix letters (in Nepali) of three districts.

Vision

The main objectives of the KhoSoBho Gurung Samaj, UK is to promote friendship, unity and identity amongst the members. Encourage creative activities to promote Gurung culture, language, tradition and identity and help and support the members in time of need.
